The Los Angeles Rams traveled to AT&T Stadium and upset the Dallas Cowboys 35-30 today. Dallas dominated the first-half, scoring on all their offensive possessions’ and led 24-16 at halftime. But the Rams put up 19 unanswered points in the second half and stopped Dallas on fourth and ten with seconds remaining to secure the victory. The Rams now move to a 3-1 record and sit alone on top of the NFC West Division.
Jared Goff continues to impress in his second season. Goff completed 21 of 36 passes, for 255 yards and two touchdowns. He was smart with his decision making and had no turnovers. Todd Gurley continues to show that he can be a threat catching the football, with seven receptions for 97 yards and a touchdown. He also rushed the ball 23 times for 121 yards. Gurley ended the game with 218 total yards which is a new career high.
Cooper Kupp also contributed, catching five passes for 60 yards and a touchdown. But most of the scoring came from Rams’ kicker Greg Zuerlein. He went 7-7 and was clutch in his performance.
The Rams will host the Seattle Seahawks next Sunday, Oct. 8th at 1:05 PM PST.
