The Los Angeles Rams traveled to the Big Apple and beat the New York Jets 9-6 this Sunday, Nov. 13th. A late fourth-quarter interception by Alec Ogletree sealed the victory.
The Rams got the win despite not scoring a single touchdown. Case Keenum completed 17 0f 30 passes for 165 yards. Todd Gurley rushed for 64 yards on 21 carries and Benny Cunningham rushed for 40 yards on six carries. Kenny Britt led all receivers with seven catches for 109 yards. Greg Zuerlein scored all nine point for the Rams, hitting field goals from 20, 38, and 34 yards.
Defensively, the Rams held the Jets to 296 total yards and one touchdown. William Hayes recorded the only Rams’ sack in the game. Ogletree led the Rams with six tackles and an interception.
Johnny Hekker had an enormous game and helped the Rams get the win. Hekker had seven punts for a 51.7-yard average and a monstrous 78-yard punt late in the fourth quarter.
The Rams host the Miami Dolphins next Sunday at 1:05 PST.
