Even with seven roster spots opened for receivers, some talented players had to be let go. Hodge is unfortunately the odd man out. Hodge made the active roster last season, but the emergence of Mike Thomas and the necessity for special teamers like JoJo Natson and Nsimba Webster closed the doors for Hodge. It’s a little odd that the Browns are the team that picked him up, but he is quality depth nonetheless.
