This year’s round of roster cuts is quite possibly the most challenging the Los Angeles Rams have ever faced. The talent levels are so vast, that the Rams led the NFL in players claimed with five players. To put things into perspective, when is the last time anyone was devastated with multiple players being cut after the preseason? I can’t remember either. But some were salvaged with the practice squad.

Many Ram fans were relieved that Allen wasn’t claimed by another team. This talented rookie performed exceptionally well in the preseason, and his underdog story is one that fans are hoping to follow for awhile. If Allen continues to work hard, it’s possible that he makes the active roster at some point during the season.
