The Los Angeles Rams beat the Denver Broncos 20-13 on Sunday, October 14 to remain undefeated. The 6-0 Rams are now three games ahead of the second-place Seattle Seahawks in the NFC West.
Denver gave the Rams offensive line problems throughout the game. Defensive end Bradley Chubb registered three sacks and Von Miller added 1.5 sacks as well. The Broncos pass defense held Rams quarterback Jared Goff to 14 of 28 passing for 201 yards and an interception.
Unfortunately for Denver, the Broncos struggled against a dominant Rams running game. Running back Todd Gurley compiled 28 carries for 208 yards and two touchdowns. His backup, Malcolm Brown, added 24 yards on five carries in relief.
The game proved to be one of the most physical the Rams have played in this season. Injuries wracked the Los Angeles roster throughout the game, including a scary moment when wide receiver Cooper Kupp suffered a knee injury after a horse collar tackle. Kupp later returned to the game.
The Rams travel to San Francisco for their third straight road game next Sunday at 1:25 PT on Fox.
