This sounds good on paper, but no matter what the Rams ultimately do to land Slay, they will still be limited to the rest of the offseason. This means that the Rams may also have to pass on prized free agents Dante Fowler and Cory Littleton. The secondary can lockdown offensive production for awhile, until they get tired. Aaron Donald can’t be the only player on defense applying pressure. Seriously, teams are prepared to quadruple-team him. In other words, this would be great in video games. The limitations of a salary cap makes this difficult to accomplish. Then again, Snead seems to have fun making the impossible, possible.
