Top 5 AAF players that were former Rams

QB Luis Perez, Birmingham Iron

Stats: 1,460 passing yards, 5 touchdowns and 6 interceptions.

Perez came into last year’s preseason with a ton of hype. Unfortunately, he didn’t receive much of an opportunity. It didn’t matter much considering the Rams did opt to roll with Sean Mannion as the only backup quarterback. After being cut from the team, he found his way on the Iron roster.

Perez didn’t disappoint being third in the league in passing yards. He may not have been the best quarterback in the league, but he made some phenomenal plays. I actually encourage readers to look at some of Perez’s highlights during the AAF. The Philadelphia Eagles made sure to swoop in and sign Perez immediately once the AAF shutdown. This made perfect sense since the Eagles lost Nick Foles.
