WR Nelson Spruce, San Diego Fleet

Stats: 38 receptions, 436 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Arguably the most familiar name on this list, Spruce made a name for himself with the Fleet. The 2016 preseason warrior came to the team as an undrafted free agent out of Colorado. Spruce took advantage of performing well in the Rams’ first preseason game back to Los Angeles. Hopes were high for the young receiver, but he was placed on the IR list and cut later. The Chicago Bears, Kansas City Chiefs and Los Angeles Chargers did give him a try before signing with the Fleet.
Spruce continuously impresses as he did become a top target for the Fleet. He is fifth in the league in receiving yards, and did make a few highlight reels. Spruce doesn’t currently have any known contract offers, but it wouldn’t surprise me if he receives one soon.
