2019 Second Round (61st overall): Washington S Taylor Rapp
Rapp made his mark on the league and the franchise by filling in for injured safety Johnson. The rookie had an incredible season in 2019 and dominated on defense. Rapp earned 100 tackles (three for a loss), one quarterback hit, eight passes defended, one fumble recovery, two interceptions and one touchdown. He ranked third in team tackles for 2019.
Rapp will most likely start alongside Johnson at the safety position in 2020. The 6-foot, 208-pound safety also has the hybrid ability to play at linebacker and defensive back. This ranking could shift in the coming years with guys like RB Darrell Henderson and OG David Edwards stepping up, but for now, Rapp gets the nod for the top spot.
