Pro: More Veteran Presence

Sounds kind of basic, because it is. Nothing wrong with getting back to the basics. Having Ramsey and Slay on the team would make for great mentors to players like David Long. Depending on how long the Rams intend to keep Slay, the plan is to have Long to eventually become a starter. There may not be a better duo in the NFL to teach Long or any other young cornerback that makes the roster or practice squad.
