Con: Slim Trade Capital

It’s not so much that this trade can’t happen or that Slay isn’t wanted on the roster, it’s the Rams’ lack of trade capital. The Rams traded away their first round picks in 2020 and 2021 in exchange for Ramsey. Attempting to piece together a trade with the remaining picks is probably not the best idea either. While having these talented pro athletes on one team is enticing, they can’t all make up 100 percent of the future of the team. Eventually, the Rams will have to get younger and have to find younger talents to compete along with the talented Pro Bowlers.
