After months of speculation and trolling, the Los Angeles Rams unveiled their new logo of the future. This is a new era of Rams football now that they are not only back in Los Angeles, but will call the SoFi Stadium their new home for the 2020 season.
The Rams did a live presentation on their Periscope which lead to an official website that spoke of the process of the new logo: Ramsnewlook.com.
The Rams organization has done a solid job at teasing Ram fans and the entire NFL about their new appearance. The heart of the trolling stemmed from Rams COO Kevin Demoff.
Tweets like the one above were plentiful. The one above came in response to the fans’ backlash to the alleged leaked logo. Turns out the hat that was displayed on Twitter a few weeks back was similar to the overall logo.
There are some minor differences, mainly because the logo isn’t fully colored in, which made the logo look more unattractive. However, the new logo is indeed revealed. In the end, the marketing ploy behind the entire scenario was brilliant. It captured the attention of not only Rams fans, but of even casual NFL fans too. Plenty of non-Rams fans couldn’t help but to chime in on the new logo.
Demoff and the rest of the Rams’ front office built the anticipation and the heightened the suspense until the final moments of the reveal. But what do you think Ramily? Do you like the new logo? Let us know.
