The Rams don’t really have a wide receiver like Higgins on their roster. The 6-foot-4-inch, 216-pound target is an exciting option on any team. The potential that Higgins brings to a roster is endless. Other than being an obvious redzone threat, Higgins can run along the sidelines and reel-in some big plays downfield. Another big target for Jared Goff is not a bad idea.
Another thing to consider is Cooper Kupp’s contract is up in 2021. The Rams will likely attempt to keep him, but in the event that doesn’t happen, having Higgins would lessen the blow. Robert Woods’s contract is up in 2022 also.
