4. Aaron Donald is quiet

The Rams defensive front came across a real test going up against the Panthers’ offensive line. One of the reasons the Panthers lost this game is because they couldn’t protect Cam Newton, at least in the first half. One player that was noticeably quiet was Donald. He only registered a tackle and a QB hit. It’s not too big of a concern considering Donte Fowler, Clay Matthews and Cory Littleton kept Newton on his toes. Still, this may be a result of missing Ndamukong Suh. Suh may have not contributed much statistically last season, but he did free up Donald a little more. No need to be concerned about Donald though. He will continue to be a dominant force, but it may be at a reduced rate.
