2. Todd Gurley did well, on paper

Considering all the drama of the offseason, Gurley did well his first game back since the Super Bowl. Finishing with 97 yards on 14 carries is a decent day. Malcolm Brown continues to excel in the reserved role and may be the goal line go-to back.
For those that are still concerned about his knee, there’s no need to worry considering we didn’t see any noticeable limping. We knew the Rams were going to reduce Gurley’s carries, and they are adding extra precautions. Personally, I’m not keen on the idea of him running out of bounds to avoid contact. However, Gurley isn’t a power back and doesn’t really run over players. Overall, I think we can put Gurley’s knee debacle behind us for now.
