Depth at linebacker was a concern last season for the Los Angeles Rams. This prompted general manager Les Snead to sign Mississippi prospect Carlos Thompson. Thompson possesses the physical traits to become a force in the NFL, but his technique needs some work.
Thompson was initially signed by the Houston Texans as an undrafted free agent in 2015, and appeared in two games. He was eventually cut last year. If Thompson can work on his hand placement and footwork, he may sneak on to the roster.
