The Los Angeles Rams’ cornerback carousel last season involved Blake Countess. Although Countess was originally drafted in the sixth round (196th overall) of 2016 NFL Draft by the Philadelphia Eagles. The Eagles cut him early in the season, and he signed to the Rams’ practice squad a few days later.
Countess was later promoted and appeared in five games, two of which he started. He finished the year with 11 tackles and one sack. Countess played in all 16 games in 2017, finishing with an interception and a pass defended. However, the odds are low that he makes the team with the current roster depth in 2018.
