The Los Angeles Rams sold out all of their season tickets in six hours, according to L.A. Times staff writer Sam Farmer. The team will begin selling single-game tickets this week.
There has been plenty of speculation over how well the team would be received in Southern California after leaving the region for St. Louis following the 1994 season. It appears those questions were answered quickly by the L.A. fanbase.
The Rams collected $100 deposits from potential season ticket buyers over a two-week span when they originally received approval to move. Months later, those deposits resulted in 24,000 season ticket holders purchasing 70,000 seats. Rams COO Kevin Demoff verified to the L.A. Times that those tickets were sold in six hours.
The Rams are expected to set their capacity at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum at 80,000 seats, which means roughly 10,000 single game tickets will be made available. Deposit holders will be contacted first for th0se limited seats.
