Florida S Chauncey Gardner-Johnson:
A safety out of Florida, Gardner-Johnson, or CJG as he’s often been referred to as, is a safety that can do a little bit of everything. He can play deep, in the box, play in the slot, etc. He is a movable piece in any defense. CJG totaled 161 tackles, 12 pass break ups, and 9 interceptions in his three years at Florida. He would be able to step into a big role day one and be the eventual successor to Eric Weddle. The Rams are clearly interested in the 2019 safety class and CJG would be a solid pick at 31.
