If you go by the 2019 rankings and completely missed the 2018 season, you can make the assumption that Goff had a terrible season. But for a quarterback that passed for 4,688 yards, 32 touchdowns and 12 interceptions, he isn’t seeing much love. Just ask Chris Simms in his recent rankings of 2019 quarterbacks. Goff is listed at 19 and it just leaves me scratching my head. Was the 2018 regular season that far away that we can’t remember the dominant performances? Arguments are that Goff can’t handle pressure, and evidence is the Super Bowl and when the Rams played against the Chicago Bears. To be honest, not many quarterbacks handle pressure well. To list Goff at 19 is insane, especially when you have guys like Derek Carr, Nick Foles and Kirk Cousins in front of him.
