Troy Hill is entering his third season in the NFL, and his second with the Los Angeles Rams. Hill played his college football at the University of Oregon, playing at the same position where he was named to the second team PAC-12 All-Conference during his junior season. After going undrafted in the 2015 NFL Draft, Hill signed as a free agent with the Cincinnati Bengals to play on the practice squad. The Bengals waived Hill at the end of the 2015 season. After a brief stint with the New England Patriots, Hill was once again waived.
The Los Angeles Rams claimed Hill off waivers on December 31, 2015 and played 12 games for the Rams, recording 35 tackles in 2016. Hill was arrested on suspicion of DUI in November of 2016, and is slated to serve a two game suspension for violating the NFL’s Substance Abuse Policy.
