Matt Longacre is a backup defensive end entering his second season with the Los Angeles Rams. Longacre played his college football at Northwestern Missouri State. He signed a free agent contract with the Rams to make the team in training camp when he went undrafted in the 2015 NFL draft. After being cut by the Rams in training camp that season, Longacre was re-signed by the team and played five games and recording seven tackles. He made the Rams again in 2016, playing in six games and recording four tackles for the Rams. Longacre is expected to fight for a roster spot with the Rams once again in 2017.
