WR/PR/KR JoJo Natson, Utah St./Akron (3rd-year pro)

JoJo Natson is literally going to fly under the radar at 5’7” and 153 pounds. He is the starting return specialist and will most likely start again as a punt returner in 2019. Natson has a career long 60-yard punt return against the Arizona Cardinals in 2018. He did have a key fumble against the Philadelphia Eagles, but Natson did learn from that mistake. He wants to be a big playmaker and may get his chance this season. There is still a lot of potential and the Rams may use him for other positions, although wide receiver is highly unlikely.
Natson came to the Rams after being released by the New York Jets in April 2018. He played college ball at Utah State where he tied a Mountain West Conference record of four punt return touchdowns. He transferred to Akron for his senior season where he scored 12 touchdowns.
Don’t be surprised if the John Fassel-led special teams corps has a trick up their sleeve next season involving Natson. Expect him to see more responsibilities too.
