Offensive line: Are Allen and Noteboom worthy?

The Rams lost two huge pieces of the offense this offseason, cutting starting center John Sullivan and losing longtime starting guard Roger Saffold to the Tennessee Titans. Slated to replace the two are second-year, mid-round picks Brian Allen and Joseph Noteboom. We barely saw either of these guys play last season.
The Rams have made it known that they’re confident both guys can step up and get the job done, but we have no evidence outside of some preseason and college tape. Noteboom is also a natural tackle. Asking a guy with virtually no NFL experience to step in at a new position is a big ask. If Noteboom and Allen can’t get the job done, things will be much more difficult for Jared Goff and Todd Gurley. These two can make-or-break this offensive unit.
