Week 6: The Los Angeles Rams fall to the Detroit Lions 31-28

The Los Angeles Rams fell to the Detroit Lions 31-28 at Ford Field on Sunday, October 16th. The Rams are now 3-3 after six games.

The Rams offense put up 28 points and 387 offensive yards against Detroit. Case Keenum completed 27 of 32 passes for 311 yards, three touchdowns, a rushing touchdown, and one interception. Todd Gurley had 11 rushes for 58 yards and four receptions for 39 yards. Kenny Britt was the leading receiver with seven receptions for 136 yards and two touchdowns.

Despite their offensive production, the Rams defense couldn’t stop the Lions. Lamarcus Joyner led the Rams with eight tackles and Aaron Donald had four tackles and a sack. But Lion’s kicker Matt Prater made a 34-yard field goal with under two minutes left to seal the victory for the Lions.

The Rams travel to London’s Twickenham Stadium to face the New York Giants in Week 7 on Sunday, October 23rd at 6:30 AM  PDT.
