2018 Sixth Round (195th overall): Rutgers NT Sebastian Joseph-Day

The Rams have ten players from the 2018 NFL Draft that are still on the roster or practice squad. Joseph-Day has been the most productive out of all of them so far. To be fair, he is the only starter that lasted the entire season. Although he has the most playing time on the field, his only starting job was as the Rams’ nose tackle in 2019.

Offensive linemen Brian Allen and Joseph Noteboom were named the starting center and left guard for 2019, respectively, but their season was cut short due to knee injuries. This left a shuffling of offensive linemen to fill the holes. Joseph-Day is a staple at the middle of the defensive line and occasionally substituted with rookie nose tackle Greg Gaines. Joseph-Day is clearly the better player of the two for now and will be competing to start again in 2020.

He has 44 tackles (five tackles for a loss), two sacks, five quarterback hits and one pass defended. He is also a great compliment to returning defensive linemen Brockers and Donald.
