Dante Fowler (UFA)
Dante Fowler finally had the season that people expected when he was drafted third overall by the Jacksonville Jaguars. Fowler came to the Rams in a trade in 2018 midway through the season and was an important part of their post-season success. Though the Rams missed the playoffs in 2019 despite going 9-7, Fowler had a career year. Fowler totaled 11.5 sacks and 67 pressures. The edge rusher also had six deflections and two forced fumbles on the year. One of the most underrated parts of Fowler’s game was his 16 tackles for a loss. Fowler will be 26 years old in 2020. He will likely command a deal around 5 years/$80-90 million. Young edge rushers who post double digit sacks generally get paid handsomely, which means Fowler is likely out of the Rams’ price range.
