2016 Week 17: The Los Angeles Rams end their season on a sour note after losing to the Arizona Cardinals 44-6

The Los Angeles Rams lost their seventh-straight game to end their season against the Arizona Cardinals 44-6 this Sunday, Jan. 1st. The bleeding is over, at least for this season. The search for a new head coach starts tomorrow as the Rams look to rebuild for next season.

Rams’ quarterback Jared Goff completed 13 of 20 passes for 120 yards. Sean Mannion completed three of six passes for 19 yards and a pick-six. Todd Gurley carried the ball 14 times for 40 yards. The offense gave up seven sacks and gained a miserable 123 yards of total offense.

The Rams’ defense gave up 344 yards of total offense and couldn’t seem to stop the Cardinals. This loss was the worst loss of the season and a horrible way to end it with a 4-12 record.

The Rams have a lot of work to do this offseason. They must hire a new head coach, make decisions on the remaining coaches and general manager, start the scouting process for the draft and free agency and figure out a way to put a winning product on the field. They have a long way to go and very little time to get it done.
